It's not a matter of "having to put that pressure" to do anything; these are simply standards that get developed over time. If a certain student gets used to getting high 90's, he or she clearly won't be able to jump cheerily after getting a 78. Nothing personal. The "you stress yourself too much for no reason" attitude coming from peers, teachers, counsellors, etc is getting rather annoying. On topic now, my overall average is 96% and admission is 98%. No predictions for this semester though. I firmly believe in jinxing

Grade 12 : 91% First semester : 80%
I used to be extremely disapointed when I'd get anything under 90%, but once I got to University it didn't take me long to realize I need to get over that way of thinking. With my first 70% mark I almost died! haha Not really. But I wasn't happy. I soon as I started accepting that University was going to be harder on grades, they started going up into the 80's and 90's again! Woo!

First semester- 90.5% This semester (approximately)- 91.3
Right now i'm getting 94 in bio, 100 in data and about 80 in calculus. The vectors part of calculus is just killing my marks right now, i'm not good at the vectors nor physics for that matter, so i'm hoping calculus will be abit easier
