Get to know people, explore the campus and city I'm in (probably Mac and Hamilton), and keep up on assignments. I have to keep in mind it is about the schooling but I know I'll have a blast. Not gonna lie, alot of what I'm looking forward to is the socializing since in my small town not much happens. Wow, sound like a hick haha.

I've always been a shy person, but during the last year at high school I've tried to put myself out there more and talk to people I wouldn't generally hang out with and I've found that it's not that bad. It's definetely worthwhile to push your boundaries and see what happens. I found that by joining clubs at school I was able to meet a lot of interesting people I had a lot in common with. So my advice to others is to join clubs and try to socialize without overthinking your every move.

Well I haven't really thought about it, but I definitely plan on joining clubs. Hopefully I'll find some people to talk to in classes as well. I just hope I don't turn into a loner because none of my friends are going to the same University as me. It'll be a fresh start but I enjoy talking so I think it'll work out smile

my plan is to spend all my time either studying, playing guitar, or watching tv, then go home on weekends and party with my friends from high school.

uni is only 8 months a year compared to 10 for HS, it'll be a breeze.

My plan to cope with university life is to make sure I have enough money to live and to make it as a short a time there as possible. Get in; get out; get the job done...

Cope? What is there to cope about? You're not going through drug rehab. or in prison.

While I'm nervous about the change I believe that it will be fun. Being yourself in a different environment. Having different responsibility and a different lifestyle.
