How far do you really want to go in your level of education?

I'd like to get PhD in something but I'm worried I would get too sick of school, plus its a lot of money.

PhD in clinical neuropsychology for me.

^ I don't know if this is in all cases true, but you actually get paid to go to graduate school. Plus, it isn't so much lecture-based as it is a research apprenticeship. You are working alongside a professor or supervisor of some kind doing what most likely interests you. You might have a few hours of class in your first two years, but you are mainly doing what you will be doing if you go into research. So it isn't as bad as you probably think it is.

That is one thing my non-university friends always ask me, "how many years of school you got left?" When I tell them at least six, they look at me in awe. I really don't think it is that bad; in fact, I kind of look forward to grad school.

I can go all the way to a PhD for microbiolgy, but I don't have the money, but I have been seriously thinking of doing a masters. I will see once I have done a few years at university, wheather my marks are good enough, and what the finances are like.

Hahah I just read your signature:
If you think Math is easy, take Euclid,
If you think Physics is easy, do the Sir Issac Newton Exam,
If you think Chemistry is easy, go try Chem 13,
If you think Biology is easy, take the National Biology Challenge,
If you think Life is easy, go find yourself a girlfriend...

That's hilarious!

Probably makes more sense to get a CA or CFA before an MBA.

I would like to get a B.Com, then go into a dual LL.B/MBA program, and eventually go into corporate law.

I want to go into Human Kinetics! I am freaking out now, though. I was early in researching, but late in applying. I have a 69% in English and took the LPI exam. I hope that nothing else will go wrong!

I'm willing to go study broad and take a bunch of language courses, and film courses to become a director... not only locally, but for foreign films as well. Srsly.

I want to go study in Japan or Taiwan, go teach in Japan, get some culture experience... as well as take all my required film courses... rawr and anything that will help me prosper. big grin Plus have fun of course. ^^~

Its fine with me if I achieve an MBA degree. I really wanted to do a PhD before but now I don't as I realised that it is very time-consuming

i would love to become a doctor and then specialize as a reconstructive plastic surgeon to help accident victims smile
that's the plan so far anyways... money is a huge problem so far though, and i'm just going into my first year pale
i don't think that i'll get sick of school, because i'm so excited about studying biology and medicine, so that shouldn't be too bad for me.
i'm getting really excited to meet new people who have the same interests as i do!
