Well, who doesn't want an extra $100? Even something as little as a $10 scholarship can make someone happy, and $100 is definitely not something to frown upon.

Reasons for entering to win a chance at $100.00 that should be simple. My program costs a lot of money, i am making sacrifices like staying at home so i can afford school. I have applied to a ton of scholarships, i will have to not go to post-secondary school if i dont get enough money through scholarships and bursaries because i am doing it debt free. So every little bit will help me to further my education.

$100 is the reason why I am doing this. Attending university away from home means I really need to save up for residence fees.

I want to do this because I need the financial help so I don't burden my parents when it comes to my education financing. They worked really hard raising me to this point, the least I can do is try to get some extra scholarships and at the same time get help, tips and information from people with similar situations.

It takes a long time to apply for scholarships, and so far I have only seen one return but that was TOTALLY worth it. I got accepted to attend Shad Valley in the summer with a full scholarship, a sort of science camp that I will be attending in New Brunswick. I'm psyched! My advice, don't give up!

because $100 is a $100 dollar difference in my life. Also, I really really wish that we didn't have to worry about money for school, I thought education was a human right? How come Canada can't adopt a national post-secondary education plans like other countries? In Trinidad and Tobago, university is free!

I've applied for a lot of scholarships and haven't won any yet. I could really use the $100 towards books or towards my transportation to school since I did not get into residence for my second year. Any little bit of money definately helps.

$100 for books would be great although, it's sad that some profs charge $50 for a bunch of photocopies.

I want this because I come from a low income family, and pay for school myself, and I want to be able to accomplish something.
The less that I have to stress out about paying for my school, means I can focus on studying and succeeding.

The reason why I am doing this is because I want to get as many scholarships I can to help me financially in my post-secondary education. In my opinion, I believe that it is a good strategy to apply as many scholarships as I can, whether I get it or not, at least I know I tried and that there is nothing to lose when applying for any scholarships. I applied for many scholarships, and I don't really focus on the value of the scholarship, but the fact that I am serious about my education and that I am eager to apply for as many as I can to help me financially in my post-secondary studies.
