My reason for doing this is that i have to support my way through university because my parents will only pay for my dorm. fees. And I've been working like crazy, but still am extremely behind in those fees! At this point, anything helps!!

My reason for doing this... I"M BROKE!!! It's not easy being a full time student and trying to balance the other expenses in life. I'm paying for my own schooling, I have a part time job which is nice. At the same time, it's not enough money for me to be able to make ends meet. I applied for a student loan, but the amount I got from them wasn't even enough to cover 3 courses! The opurtunity to have an extra $100 in my pockets mean's being able to afford some groceries, some extra cash to take a summer course or some help to pay for yet ANOTHER text book.

After going through my first year at university, I've realized how much money is really needed. I feel bad for asking my parents to pay for my schooling, so I'm trying anything I can to get some money on my own.

what's 5 quotes for a $100? sheesh, if you win, that's like maybe $100 for 10 min. of work... sounds like $500 an hour (if life were like that, it'd be great) but chances are still chance and they're worth taking the chance for it.

I haven't applied to any other scholarships yet. I'm just doing this because it's the easiest thing to apply for.

I'm doing this because I used up all of my bursary and scholarship money for first year, am transferring to an even more expensive school, and need any sort of funding that I can get. Post 5 times in order to be eligible for $100? Easy peasy. Taking 10 minutes out of my day off > 10 hours of dealing with cranky customers at work.

Ha, ya I think we're all in the same boat, School is really expensive and every little bit counts.... I've started participating in all the reserch studies going on at my school just to get groceries this month.... it hasn't been so bad and found out some pretty cool stuff about other fields! So this is just one more endevour to cover uni costs!

I've applied/am applying for alot of scholarships. My program isn't exactly expensive, it's about $3000 a semester, plus books, but I come from a really poor family, and i mean the WHOLE family, and I will be the first one going to college. Also, I am really enthusiastic about hwat I want to do. I've known I wanted to be a massage therapist since I was in grade 10, and I've always enjoyed giving massages, since I was like, 5

The preceding was a message from D. Huiskamp, Future RMT

My reason for doing this: any little bit helps. I just got accepted to law school, and it's going to be VERY expensive!

100$ can really help when you've only got so much money aside, not such a good pay and rent to pay for!
I think everybody really deserves that money though... But they'll probably just pick at random, hm?
