-pretty much everything everyone else has said! -when people don't turn off their high beams and they blind you (esp. at night) -when the person sitting behind you kicks your chair or puts his/her foot up on it -when people have atrocious spelling/grammar and make no sense -when people just want attention! -when people use smilies all the time

I've got a few...
People who spit everywhere- there probably isn't a place in the city that hasn't been spit on- Can't even sit on the grass anymore.
People who walk slow- I saw that it was mentioned, but it's a big one of mine.
People who suck their teeth- it's such an annoying and disgusting sound!

when there are about 100 empty seats in a movie theatre and the tallest guy in the whole building decides to come and sit right in front of me, knowing full well that I'll be craning my neck the whole time.
Or, when there is an entire line of empty chairs and people choose to sit at the ones at the very end with their four other friends who don't like the middle, and you have to step over toes (while THEY get angry at you) to get to one of the 25 empty seats in the middle

Telemarketers!!! Especially the ones who absolutely butcher the pronunciation of your last name. Also when people sing songs and they don't the words and pretend that they do. I also hate it when people sing off key and think they sound amazing.

I hate when there's a pop bottle in the fridge with some pop left in it and then along comes the buff guy who grabs the bottle and finishes every last drop -- straight from the bottle! Oh, I also hate when people wipe their hands on their pants when they're done eating!

stupid forum posts. Especially the ones that unintentionally turn into debates. Unfortunately, I'm usually the one to blame. I should really rid myself of the habit. Pourquoi?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf94uiIbItg

Haha, I think those can be fun, although I HATE when people turn it personal. It's supposed to be a dating showing different opinions. Just because someones opinion differs from yours doesn't meant they're an idiot or whatever else you want to call them. desiderantes meliorem patriam

Loud people in the library. I'd stab them if it was legal... seriously.

I hate when people sit in classes an play music or movies loudly just to annoy people trying to do work. Like know, this idiot is blasting Eminem, while I'm trying to write an essay on HIV *sigh* desiderantes meliorem patriam

Annoying people who complain all the time, I feel like shaking them and saying, "stop complaning so much, suck it up! and stop being so pessimistic, lighten up or get out of my face!"
lol that may be a bit harsh and blunt but sometimes it just gets to a point where I snap, people snap when you push them too far u know?

I might have a long list going soon enough... lol My number one pet peeve would have to be: People who don't clean up after themselves, and don't flush toilets! It's not that hard to hit that button, or yank that cord. If there's a pipe blockage, get a professional to take care of the mess before someone else has to enter into the stall and die of horrific sights and fumes... in a nut-shell, Please don't put us off public washrooms fo'lyfe Environmental Studies & Resource Management, Earth Science University of Waterloo '11

agreed! I hate non-flushers, especially since i work at a restaurant, and one of my duties is cleaning the washrooms up. I hate people who really don't put any effort into stringing their sentences together when they're writing on the internet. I can understand if you have a learning disorder, but if you're just not putting in the effort.... I also don't like ppl who LOL on the bus, like a lot, when ur tired and just want to get home. ... altho i've probably done it a few times... I HATE litterers too. 99% of my friends no longer litter I dislike ppl who don't signal when they're changing lanes, especially if there are children in their car. I hate ppl who just won't finish off the jar of peanut butter, or the carton of oj. I hate ppl who show up ridiculously late, like when u know that ppl are gonna be late so you decide to meet up at 8 for the 8:10 movie, and that 1 guy still manages to show up at 8:40. ...but I swear I'm not a hateful person!

Oh man you're awesome. I agree with all of them. I hate when people don't use their turn signals. Especially when I'm waiting to turn at a red, and they put it on at the last second. I'm always sitting there thinking "thanks genius, if you would have put it on earlier like you were supposed to, I could have turned! But now I have to wait for the long line of cars behind you to go first!" desiderantes meliorem patriam

lol I remembered this thread, so I'm coming back to it again! =D . wedgies!Number two pet peeve. on me, and occasionally others. Especially if you're in a social setting where you can't adjust your underwear to er, an appropriate buttcheek. . chewed-out gums thrown on pavements / stuck under desks / etc.Terrrrible! why can't one afford to have enough energy to throw these in the bin?? my flipflops got ruined the other day because I managed to step them into a massive bubble. I know we're all guilty of disposing gum this way, but good gosh not another shoe. . extreme lack of geography/cultural knowledge (-infinity points if you're living in a multicultural society)No, I did not ride to school on a camel. I can't decide if this is a pet peeve, or just a huge thing that bugs me lol about certain people, but don't we all have people in our lives or that we *shudders* get to occasionally meet that are bent on breaking you? it's like every word that comes out of their mouth is caked in criticism dislike or pessimism. I reside at a scaringly high level of sensitivity, and all the negative energy those kind of people produce squishes all the happiness out of me. I knew this one girl who would always have something to say about my 'weird' hair or clothes or lifestyle, and I wondered why she didn't spend her free time trying to be a warm person rather than concentrating on staying an intimidating bulk of meanness. =( Excuse the language but that's just about the only thing that sums it up. haha it's so ironic how in maintaining a pet peeve list, I get to be the target of peevyness myself!
