Anyone have any interesting pet peeves? I can't stand people that don't lift their feet when they walk. I'm currently sitting in the library at my school on my laptop, trying to get an assignment done, and there's this kid wandering around purposelessly shuffling his feet on the carpet and it's driving me nuts! And now that I've got that out, back to my project. desiderantes meliorem patriam

Girly laughter I feel a piece of me dies every time I hear that high pitched giggle.

Haha funny thread.
I can't stand noise (except music I like) when I'm trying to sleep. No ticking clocks, howling dogs, snoring, anything. I sometimes have to resort to listening to my iPod.. or wearing ear plugs.. or putting the clock in a different room.
AH also.. people who chew loudly. Makes me angry just thinking about it lol.

My pet peeve is when you're going to merge onto the freeway and the guy driving in the merge lane speeds up and cuts you off. Like I am tempted sometimes to pull on them, especially if it's a smaller car versus my truck.

slow walkers drive me crazy oh and the worst is when people speak with an upward inflection at the end of EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE... so everything sounds like a question, makes them sound so stupid.

I hate slow walkers, or people who cut you off, walk slowly in front of you and then stop, RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!!!. I also hate people who crowd around friend lockers, blocking the hallway, and then when you try to pass, glare at you.

hah i dont mind slow walkers. I have a bad habit of doing that sometimes. I just dont see the need of rushing everywhere in life. Taking time to look around is always important. You notice more.
I do absolutely hate it when people eat loudly. Its so annoying. Thankfully my girlfriend has the exact same peeve as me so we both eat quietly. Its quite the prime combination.
Also, people who run their mouths and brag loudly, so everyone hears, about how crazy their weekend was. Honestly...we've all had crazy drunken weekends. Get real. Shut up.

I've found out like 80% of my new school is like that I also don't like it when people ask for all of these at once Pencil/Pen Paper and some correction fluid and I always make my friends that do that regret it can't imagine what it would be like in a lecture

It should be punishable by a swift hard punch to the back of the head. My computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

people making noise when i'm trying to concentrate or watch a movie. Sunflower seeds, popcorn, even nachos, all of them drive me insane.
also people who keep their wrappers on their erasers and it crinkles every time you write with it. I bring earplugs to exams now because it drives me nuts.
noises in general drive me insane

I tried to be polite about it in Grade 11 just on the off chance that if I did force my way through it could be a bunch of Grade 12s and something would get started. Once I hit grade 12 though, its was 'bows through the crowd without remorse. Most of my friends just fell in behind me as I cleared a path LOL. Many times the pushed would spin around with a look of WTF? on their face but upon seeing me, it would switch to a timid look or quiet grumblings. It's honestly one of the better feelings in the world. The funny part is my teachers who saw me do it didn't even care, because they too hated people who would just stop mid stride to talk to a friend or walk slowly to class.
