I'm going for an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree. I'd like to get it in law, but I also like political science and some philosophy. After that I'd like to go for my Bachelor of Laws (LLB) to become a lawyer What the hell have I been accepted for?! Now the requirements have changed! Help!

It's really encouraging how many people here are linking their passions with their future careers... that's always nice to see.

My passion is geography (human geography)! It's actually a subject most people don't consider to pursue past high school and that makes it even more appealing. I hope to combine geography with business in a career in the future.

I'm going into General Science (physical) because I'm not exactly sure what I'd like to do in life. I was thinking optometrist or orthodontist, even though it's so many years of university.

I finally found someone who has the same passion as me If I can I want to work in the tourism related fields. I also love planning, so one of my delimmas is whether to go to waterloo planning or geography (I love both programs but not so much the school) or western geography (my favourite school/campus/environment/rez...). Where are you going? And I agree with you. It's very appealing that very few people pursue geography after high school. Any geography program at any university is pretty small, which I love. So I'm really excited about September (once I've decided where to go =S)!

Many people I'll tell will give me an odd look for pursuing geography, because they don't know where it leads to besides teaching. I plan to show that by combining it with something, I'll have an advantage of a social science knowledge base and a job that includes my favorite subject. To chocolate_craver: NICE! I sent you a PM with the answers to your question, we should discuss more.

Honors Bachelor of Education Intermediate/Senior level with a major in English and hopefully a minor in Kinesiology (rather than gym, I'd like to teach Exercise Science). I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, but I've been told I'd make a good teacher, especially in English, apparently thats my forte. So I finally decided to go with teaching, but after I'm done my five years I want to either go for my masters, or if I'm am not feeling quite fulfilled with teaching I might try and apply to get in to be a general practioner (this is where the Kin comes in!).
