Number 1: Do you eat breakfast?

Number 2: If so, what's you favourite thing to eat? I love a toasted bagel with miracle whip, swiss cheese, a big slice of tomato and salt and pepper, called "Toasted Cheese and Tomato" in my house. Sometimes I'll make it a sandwich with bread instead. Delicious!

I always eat breakfast. Either a big bowl of healthy cereal or a bunch of eggs, bacon/sausage, and toast.

That (minus the swiss cheese) is my favourite sandwich as well! I make it with bread... but just a bit of tomato, mayo and salt/pepper... We call it toasted tomato. Yumm!
But for breakfast I like cereal or toast or waffles.

I definitely need my breakfast!

My main thing lately is smoothies, my main recipe is:

About 2/3 of a banana (I keep frozen chunks around, if I'm using fresh I'll either use the whole thing or pop a piece into my bag of frozen chunks)
1 cup of milk
1 tbsp peanut butter

And then either 1tbsp cocoa powder or a couple shakes of cinnamon for flavor. I've also been adding about 1tbsp of ground flax seed lately. I usually blend it, then put it in the freezer while I have my shower, then blend again.

FAQ's:
1. Will I get in? See: electronicinfo.ca for Ontario schools. If you have a couple percent above the marks there and it's not looking at supplementary, the answer is almost certainly yes.
2. Anything else: Google it before asking.

My daily breakfast:

-Vector cereal w/ skim milk
-Whole wheat toast w/ low-fat cream cheese
-Apple
-Orange Juice (Along with my vitamin tablets and fish oil)

I like eating a good breakfast, seems to quell my appetite for the rest of the day, and I feel like a million bucks.

I'll eat breakfast if I have time.
Usually it's leftovers - whatever I had for dinner the night before.
If I don't eat breakfast, I'll just eat my lunch during my first class.
(I have horrible eating habits).

I don't think I have ever skipped breakfast. I need it, most important meal of the day!

I just have Honey Nut Cheerios with milk, usually several bowls (I just keep refilling). Then I have a snack an hour later, then another one, then another one....I pretty much eat non stop razz

I never get to have breakfast. I either roll out of bed at noon, or 2:15 like today, so I grab lunch or I wake up late for class and don't have time to eat. I probably haven't had an actually breakfast since I went to ikea for one back in March or so.

For some reason if I wake up early (which I always do-around 530-6am) I feel sick to my stomach for the first hour or two I'm up. So I have a bad habit of skipping breakfast, but I try to at least bring a breakfast shake with me if I can't eat breakfast before I leave the house.

my breakfast usually consists of whatever's leftover or yummy. these days my mom hasn't been cooking so i've developed an addiction to bananas, blueberries, lactaid and avocadoes.

NO. Bad idea. Breakfast kick starts your metabolism so you lose weight! Most important meal of the day!

If I get to work early I buy my breakfast, and it has to cost less than $5

1) Two hard boiled eggs + two pieces wheat toast + yogurt w/ honey
2) Banana + Cornflakes + skim milk
3_ Two pieces wheat toast + egg white omelet w/ green onions, mushrooms and tomatoes

Hospital food can be pretty decent.
But whenever I pass out trays/feed patients that are full of purée stuff...it just kills my appetite.
Except when they have cheesecake and pudding.
Then I'm just tempted to steal it.

Yeah they have some pretty good stuff, and they have international specials each week. It is just a matter of finding well priced items (example: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 pieces of bread, and a container of yogurt is $3.50)

I guess I'm the first for oatmeal here. I love having oatmeal, a banana, yogurt, and either orange or mango juice. It's a big improvement and just started this year. I used to never eat breakfast, like someone else mentioned because I always felt sick to my stomach when I got up, so the thought of food kind of made me sick. I've also found out I'm either allergic to milk or lactose intolerant, so maybe that's why the cereal never went down so well. lol

To the person who also felt sick upon waking up, try having a small dinner the night before earlier than you're used to, drink lots of water to fight that late night hunger, then when you wake up you'll be so hungry your body won't bother feeling sick. Then you'll eat breakfast, making you more full for the rest of the day, so you won't get as hungry at night, and repeat the process. It worked for me anyway. smile

If I'm in a rush, I have two eggos/two pieces of white bread with coffee (unhealthy, I know).

But if I have time, I have cereal: Corn Flakes, Life, Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, or Frosted Flakes, with half a banana on top.

I can't have too much fibre in the morning because it sends me to the washroom.

Does anyone have orange juice in the morning? Does that actually help you concentrate?
