Okay, so I've gotten a few small scholarships, but I'm hoping to step it up this year. I'm wondering, with my experience and if I wrote a good essay, what my chances are of getting a scholarship? (ANY scholarship...). If you have any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
Participate in any extracurricular activities? • Swimming • counterattack club (including cancer all Nighter and 30 hour famine) • anime and gamers club • youth action club helper • choir soloist • badminton club • PE Leadership

Grade 11: 76%, B average (REALLY BAD, I actually failed two courses and had to repeat one. It doesn't show up in records though).
Grade 12: 90% an A average College First Year: 85%, A- average

There are so many scholarships out there, of course you're going to win something. I don't think your extracurriculars or grades are exceptional enough to win some of the HUGE ones however. But those little ones definitely add up. A lot of universities have academic excellence ones that you can win for having over a certain GPA (usually a 3.5) see if yours does.

Yeah, I'm thinking of trying to up my grades and volunteering more. The main problem was that I have been working ALL THE TIME so it makes it hard to have time for extracurriculars and volunteering. I know that this seems like a cop-out, but I have been working two jobs for all of the last two years. SO I guess I should just step it up? Any other replies would be greatly appreciated.
