I've always been curious. This is excluding university work. I mean for leisure or during the summetime. It really is circumstantial, for example my summer job consists of solitude so I get in quite a few hours.

My hero is Joseph Campbell who used to read at least 9 hours a day. I get about four and hope to be at least half as brilliant as him one day.

I adored reading before university.
I still do, but university life has consumed me and I hardly get to read for leisure anymore worry
Summer's a great time to catch up though,
I spend about 1 and a half hours each day reading favourites before I get to bed.

Unfortunately very rarely. I do read the newspaper daily, I don't know if that counts? I used to be an avid reader, not so much anymore.

hah, me too...
I read time magazine intensely during breakfast/meals at home, but apart from that, I only read if I'm terribly bored.
I used to read a lot more though, especially when I was in transit, but I get motion sick on busses if I stare at a page, so I can't do that anymore frown

I prefer non-fiction. I enjoyed reading fiction books until late elementary school when the fun of reading them was destroyed, lol.

Yeah I've definitely moved over to nonfiction, I used to read fiction like crazy when I was a kid!

Hours?! Maybe about 20 minutes a day to read the newspaper. Never for leisure, however (unless you consider reading the forums and internet pages).

Through the school year I would get about 3-5 hours a day (in classes where we rarely did anything) and 1-2 before I went to bed. Now during the summer I only read during the 1-2 hours before bed, unless it's a rainy day.

When I have alot of free time I can read up to 10 hours at a time... but I try not to do that because it kindof ruins the rest of the day. usually I read about 5 hours in the summer, and 1-2 hours during school.
It may sound impressive to read alot, but think of everything else you're missing if you do!

In the summer, I can read anywhere between 0 and 12 hours a day, depending on my mood, what's going on that day, and how good my book is. Usually it will be one extreme or the other.

(I get into reading moods...)

I read both fiction and non-fiction...

Six-ish, during the school year.
Bit more during summer, usually around ten or so.
A day spent reading is a day not wasted.
Though I usually read at the same time as doing other things.

NEVER UNLESS IT IS HARRY POTTER. IN THAT CASE IT IS MORE LIKE 8 HOURS A DAY AS I IMAGINE THE ADVENTURES ME, RON, HARRY AND HERMIONE WOULD BE HAVING.
