It's probably a randomized drawing, but I wish they'd scale it on how much scholarship money you already have. That way people with no money could get a leg up, as opposed to someone with alot of scholarship money absorbing a tiny $100.

The contest seems fair and simple.
However, can you post on ANY forum? I'm only asking b/c I've posted a lot of stuff on Scholarship 101 forum.
Thanks!

Yes, you can post in any forum here. As of this moment you have 8 posts, so you are in the draw.

I think it was a good idea for them not to do that you get an entry in the draw for every 5 posts.... then the people that are inclined to this sort of thing/have high speed internet are at an advantage... this way everyone has equal shots.. but still that little bit of work to get there which is good

There's currently around 660 members who have 5+ posts. Not much of a chance.

i was wondering that too? how do they pick the winners? it must be at random? i have bet the odds once at winning a harder schoolarship so hopefully my luck keeps coming!! godd luck all

i'm pretty sure they pick at random, as long as you have 5 posts you've got the same chance as the next guy.

The most I've ever won is 150 on a lottery ticket, what a great day that was!

After this they should have a contest for the best post... every member gets to submit one of their favourite posts and gets judged accordingly =P That way that can be a 'merit' based scholarship

One thing that I'd like to point out is that people who have already received a relatively huge amount of money should slow it down so other people can have a chance! smile

Waiting on the world to change. ♥

This would be a hard choice without being biased. Maybe they will randomly pick a page and a topic and scroll to a person. Tooooooooooo random.

I think its a random draw, but I also think they should look to see if the posts did contribute because if someone won who posted only a couple of random words won while someone who posted a lot of important info didn't that would really suck

I'm hoping the winners are people who actually NEED money for school. These are great opportunties!

It must be a random draw, because it would be hard to judge who's posts are the most contributive or making an impact on society, when truthfully everything everyone has posted probably means alot to them. I believe they said they enter your name into a drwa, so I'm guessing they will randmly just pick out some names and hopefully; its meh lol
