Oh it's not that I'm pissed, more like amused. I've had quite a few laughs over OSAP Apparently Queen's is considered a commuter school from the GTA (even though its over 200 km away) (my friend's mother called them up and that's what they told her) so they won't give like 3 of my friends any money Pourquoi?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf94uiIbItg

I live about 52kms from Queens and it is not a commuter school for me in OSAP's view.

RIIIIGHT..... like dropping out of graphic design at 20 (5 grand gone) going back to school "because this is what i REALLY want to do and i know now!" at 24 to take Child and Youth Work (at least I paid for my first year?) only to realise "Hey! I like being a Teacher's Assistant! but I can teach!" puts me in school, and A LOT MORE DEBT! until I'm in my early 30's. (God I'm old!) Ya...... Why couldn't be a doctor and make it worth it? I'll be taking that OSAP debt to my GRAVE!!!! Kids, figure it out. You really don't have "tons of time". At least I'm 4'11 and look 21 and GOD HELP ME IF I DON'T BECOME A TEACHER! My "fall back" is getting that French degree. Government Job! $$$$ Glendon/York Universty - Specialization in PsychologyChild and Youth Worker Graduate

I haven't gotten any response back from OSAP yet, regarding how much I will receive. It is nearing the end of June, is this normal?

Mind you, as I said in my post, this was over the phone and not in an official document. I've driven to Queen's and, trust me, it's not a commuter school. Actually your master's degree should be pretty much free, don't go if they won't fund you.
