LOL I actually just laughed out loud.

When I was 8, I told my dad I wanted to be a garbage man because I liked driving big trucks and got a 30 minute lecture about how I should be a doctor instead. Like c'mon Dad, I was EIGHT. aha.

Yeah, their requirement is at least a 70 (I have a 93 right now, so I'm a little ahead), but the average of the students accepted last year was 80 something. It's not my first choice, but the school has been really nice and welcoming so far.

Luckily my mom doesn't care what I get my undergrad in as long as I go to law school. When I told her I wanted to be a journalist when I was like 14, I thought she was going to shoot me.

I've always wanted to ask this: what does one do with a B.A. in Women's Studies?

I'm hoping to go to Law school. I'm probably going to do a double major in Women's Studies and Political Science. If I don't go to Law school, then I could just continue with school and teach or work in a women's shelter.

People aren't kidding when they say they get early acceptances from Waterloo. A girl I know did her OUAC applications around mid-late November last year and a few weeks later she was accepted to their Kines. programme and given a scholarship offer. Mind you this girl had 100% in math for 3 years in a row and a stellar report card, considering she had a pt job and was on the student council. She was later accepted to Queen's and took that offer instead to their kines. major, but c'mon! Acceptance after a few weeks of applying?? She deserved it though. Real hard worker. My school also had a really good reputation, but regardless of that, hard work pays off no matter where you are.

I don't understand why universities would send out offers before January 12th. Wouldn't it make more sense to see all the applicants? I know Windsor is desperate, but come on...

For a few years I wanted to major in philosophy and my dad would constantly lecture me on how business was a much better choice because nobody gets paid to just think. I changed my own mind fortunately.

I guess if they're well above the cut-off, it's convenient.

Pretty much. I was told Toronto rarely gives out early acceptances anyway, so that's one school not to expect anything from.
