Does anyone know when the New Student Form the one with the passport picture for the student ID card is due?
Also when do we apply for courses and clubs? After I accepted my offer McMaster still has not sent me anything about what i should do next. Also I know that you can meet with an academic adviser before we select cources, but when is that???

Look at your acceptance package, all the information is in it. Did you go to may@mac? They had a seminar about accepting your offer.
I don't really remember the dates, but I'm almost certain nothing is due before the end of june (except res deposits, that date already past)
I should probably start thinking about filling out and submitting everything too...

You won't sign up for clubs until welcome week.

All incoming mac students, make sure to check out the 08/09 fall/winter course timetable when picking your courses. It'll help you arrange your class times to your preferences when you go to register on SOLAR.

Here's the link: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca/scheduling/coursett.html

It will be up this coming Monday.

Nope! I think incoming first years pick (meaning you actually have to register on SOLAR) sometime in the middle of July. Even then I believe you have a week after to think about it and change it around if you like.

Its on the Getting Registered part of the site

Oh and for the new student card, for your pictures DON'T go get new passport photos. Save a few bucks and get pictures taken in one of those little booths at the mall (you know the ones where you take crazy pictures with your friends) It's much cheaper and you won't look like a criminal! lol big grin

that's actually a good idea, too bad I haven't seen one of those photo booths in years, disgust
I reaaaallllllyyyy don't want to resort to passport photos, I have an extra copy from when I was getting my passport done in December and I swear I look like a communist era Russian immigrant.
