I want to be a future vet yet i am kind of lost in what courses i have to take/should take and what the codes for courses are

like it says 1) select one of the following calculus courses as determined by your major and mine is
math*1080 but then option two says u can select math*1200 if i took calculus(mcv4u) what is the difference? i should take 1200 right

2) then if i did physics i can select phys*1000

3) take bio BIOL*1030
4)chem CHEM*1040

5) pick elective for my major

pass students which elective should i pick if i want to be a vet? an easy course to gain marks but one that i need for vet?

and the cal course i should take 1200 right. thank you guys im really lost!

The 1200 math course depends on what course you are going into? And if your going into just biology then you will be taking Math 1080. And that statement below the math section which your referring to states that only BIOCHEMISTRY majors who have completed calculus can take math 1200. That is if your looking from the same book as i am.

And also looking over the book again you would be taking physics 1070 not 1000. You gotta read through the book carefully, it can be tricky to match everything right.

Love it, Hate it, just don't lose it.
Science students don't really get to choose their courses, so course selection for you is a no brainer. Just follow the calendar, pass your classes and you'll be a happy graduate in 4 years.

Oh and as for the elective, you can take absolutely anything you want, as long as it's an arts/social science credit. A lot of Science majors take ECON1050 for some reason. They usually do pretty well. If you look really really hard, you might find the list of recommended arts/social science courses to take for Science students. I'm sure it exists, but good luck finding it.
