Right now I have for jobs:
-Staples Associate Part-Time
-Bluenotes Associate @ Mall Part-Time
{{PS: this sickens me inside though, seeing 'Made in China' and 'Made in Bangledash' on so many things just makes me wish I could quit...}}
Depending on the schedule for the weeks (conflicting shifts after school/evenings and such), I'm set to make between $120 and $250 (on a really busy week) each week, thus between $240 and 500 every pay...
It may be difficult for finding shifts that don't clash (like this week, though it was easily sorted out by giving a Staples shift to a co-worker, and calling Bluenotes), I kinda like this setup... but it's certainly not the full-time resort kitchen/laborer work I'm used to for the last 3 summers - which brought in between $350-600 every paycheque even on minimum wage in the summer. It's not likely I'll be moved to full-time for either job though... and neither do I want to be full time. Staples gives me dust-in-the-air headaches and messes my body up after 5-6 hours of working, and I've only worked 2 shifts at Bluenotes so far...
So, unless I find a new full-time job for the summer, I'll be making steady money, but not enough really to make it 'worth it'. SO... I was wondering, have anyone on Studentawards made any money using that newfangled tool called the 'Internet'?
I've been reading a lot on how, with much effort and time of course, people can start up and - after community participation is started - prod along traffic to forums and blogs, etc, and, for example, used Google Adsense to make some revenue from this. I'm not just talking about Adsense, but just as an example..
I honestly don't expect to make more than pocket change from this... but that sure is enough for spending money over the summer!

Come. Share your ideas on this. Or bash me, since this may be a silly, silly idea.
