It seems odd that you are in a translation program but don't have any French courses. Is this normal? (I do not know the specifics of this program).

I could take French courses, but it's not required.
All the translation courses require a good knowledge of both english and french, so they're assuming I already know enough to succeed in the program

Honours BA with specialization in French-English Translation
Minor in German

157Y is Analysis
137Y is Calculus!
The only POSts that require MAT157Y Analysis are Math Specialist ones.
Math Major requirements are 137 and 223 Linear Algebra.

I believe Analysis is basically all proofs so that would be a bit too challenging.

I'm so jealous frown

I'm a graduate of Child and Youth and Work and want to teach, but a friend in a concurrent program told me that if she had the choice she'd have taken the old BA then BEd route because it would be less stressful. I'm 28 now, and went to college really late so I want to stay as stress free as possible even though I want to finish as fast as possible. She told me I'd be finishing about the same time/years anyway. I really wish I hadn't of listened to her!

I want to teach elementary French and I am currently taking bilingual-French at Glendon/York with a few psych courses on the side.

You will love CYW classes they are so awesome!!!!!!

****************************************************

Back to the topic.

Some of you people have a serious work load- i was getting a little worried until I finally saw York students with less classes. Here's my year so far although I'm still trying to get into the Intro to Child Development (Psych) class for first semester.

FALL

French 1 year course condensed into a semester

I needed a B to move on, and I didn't get it... so i'm retaking it frown thank god they offered one condensed option because i didn't really want to sit in that class again for an entire year...lame!

Intro to Biology (year course)

I need ONE science or math credit and I've already failed another class attempt, and dropped the other. I'm running out of options and I am staying clear of math because i'd fail all of those classes. Getting this one credit is the hardest part of University for me! ugh! I almost failed science and math in high school and that was 13 years ago...i better pass this!

Intro to Child Development - ? I keep hoping someone drops it so I can take it! child and youth work diploma will pay off here!

WINTER -The final exam year of death

Intro to Biology (cont'd)

Intro to Abnormal Psych

Psychology of Anomalous Experience

Glendon/York Universty - Specialization in Psychology
Child and Youth Worker Graduate
