What conditions are needed to obtain Terry Fox Scholarship?

Award recipients must meet the following criteria:
* Involvement in voluntary humanitarian work. * Canadian citizens or landed immigrants. * Undergraduates studying towards their first university degree or diploma at a Canadian post-secondary institution in Canada. * Maintain a satisfactory academic standing and continued involvement in voluntary humanitarian and community work.

Check out Student Awards, you will find all the TERRY FOX HUMANITARIAN AWARD SCHOLARSHIP information you need. This year there were over 700 applications and the award is for $28,000.

The Terry Fox Memorial Scholarship for $1,500 is open to all students with disabilities who plan to enter the first year of a Canadian public post-secondary education institution full-time in 2008-2009 and who are the children of, or foster children of, a member of the National Union of Public and General Employees.
