Go to your bank and transfer to your student number (nine numbers) Send a cheque to Queen's Online banking, make a transfer to Queen's (student number)

Don't worry. I'm too stupid to understand all this Queen's payment stuff as well. HOw to do it and when and how much is just over my head..
but yes. Ooosh laid it out quite nicely.. If you can understand all that. Paying with a credit card would be so much easier.

Guys if u got into queen's, u must have enough brain cells left to figure this out.
On the site:
-Theres information. -Theres a clear link to the res app. -When you're done the res app., they explain how to pay. -3 weeks later they email u that ur good...

yeah, the minimum deposit isn't too bad to figure out, I just had a really hard time finding the total amount i owed them by sept 30 It's kinda upsetting that it would take 2 weeks to process a deposit (even if they do get flooded near the end...) since they said that it would take about 5 business days. I submitted mine on Sunday, and I still haven't heard back yet, so fingers crossed it's in by june 4!

I received an Email from them but it seemed to just say they received my application and nothing about my deposit. Will they send me another email once my depo has been...don't know what word i'm looking for here.

I just filled out my application form and maybe I am stupid but there was no option to select where I would prefer to stay. All I did was put down my preferences for room type, when we do select what residence we want to stay in?
The site seems pretty unorganized to me, I hope I'm doing everything right.

You don't choose my residence, you choose by room type.

Ok, I guess I was under the wrong impression. I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right.
So for the deposit then, my dad says he will have to create an account at his bank (with my Queen's number) and then transfer money to that account. Is that how it works?

If so, I know for TD Canada Trust, you go to "Pay bills" and follow the instructions there, you use your Queen's number and transfer that money. For regular banking, tell him to go to his bank and tell the teller he needs to transfer the amount to a university, they will ask which university and then ask for the account number (your student number).
