Halp. I'm getting mixed messages from Ottawa U, one person says it's the best, while another says that it's terrible. On the other hand, Carleton doesn't get a lot of press at all, but the few people who I have talked to liked it. Advice?

Hi there,
I'm not sure about Carleton but I know that Biochem at Ottawa U is no easy ride (as I have many friends in that program). As for reputation, Ottawa U is probably better than Carleton -- this year it ranked 5th for leading edge research in Canada - or something like that. In general Ottawa U is known for its Biomedical Science, Health Science and basically anything science/med related.

from what i've heard generally ottawa would be better in sciences than carleton would. but that's just what i've heard so i don't know how valid it is since it's like beyond second hand knowledge at this point
