In Semester 1, I had Biology 12, English 12, Math 12 (Online), Physics 11 (Online) and French 12. In Semester 2, I have Physics 12 and AP Calculus AB. The thing is that someone (who is in charge of sending my marks to the BC Ministry of Education) did not send in my Physics 11 course to the ministry for unknown reasons. So my marks for both Physics 11 AND even Physics 12 are missing on my transcript. I was admitted to UBC Sci based on my self-reported grades. But when UBC verified my grades with my transcript, I was rejected because of my missing Physics 11 mark which is a pre-requisite course to UBC Science. So I went to my counselor to ask what happened. At first, she said it was the Online School's fault and that I had to contact them. However, that was pure BS, as the online school sends the marks directly to our school. So I asked, then why my Math 12 was sent without any problem. She said she doesnt know and told me to go talk to this particular office lady. So I went to the office lady to talk about it. All she said was something to the effect of "if UBC contacts us, we will verify it." Even though I know that things will get corrected eventually, the reason why I am worried is because my course registration date (based on marks) should be June 5th, but it was moved way back to June 13th, which is later than the very last people. So when my transcript does get corrected some unknown time far back in the future, the only courses/timetables/residence that will be available to me would be those that are leftovers that no one wants. This is a totally frustrating unforeseen situation that I absolutely had no control over. Right now, I don't know who to contact. UBC Bachelor of Science 2012 — Major in Computer Science

Contact everyone you can think of. I think the most logical thing to do is contact UBC and tell them to phone your school.
And shouldn't course registration be even later for International students? At least UBC is still willing to take you, so look on the bright side!

Right now, I don't know who to contact. well I got a email from UBC last week saying that they noticed a difference in my mark and it was actually my school's fault. So, I went to my counseller and he faced my correct transcript to UBC. Go to the other counsellor or something and if it still doesn't workout, try to approach the principal and they should fax your correct transcript to ubc. Contact ubc admissions as early as you can(don't email them, call them) and tell them your problem and they will tell you the solution because June 13th is too late UBC Bachelor of Sciences in Fall 2008

Are the math 12 and physics 11 online?
UBC hates online courses. I've heard stories of people getting rejected and what not in my school, because they had online courses.
I think UBC has probably figured it out by now, the reason people take online courses is so that they can get a better mark than the one they would get in actual school...

But I got 99% in math provincial exam and 93% as a class mark in online school. ughhhh I guess I will contact the principal as sidhu_sukh said. :S UBC Bachelor of Science 2012 — Major in Computer Science

Yea, I'd recommend going to another counselor or going to the principal as well. I've been in a kind of similar situation. I've legitimately dropped a course before, but an error caused it to show up on my transcript with a mark of zero. My counselor, for whatever reason or the other, didn't take it off when I requested the mark to be removed. So it was sent to all the universities.
Eventually I confronted the counselor and was planning to get more higher-ups involved, but fortunately the counselor came around and removed the zero for the 2nd semester midterms mark update. Nevertheless, I'd hate to think what would've happened if I'd just took the counselor words the first time and never bothered to get to the bottom of the situation.
So my advice: talk with the people in charge (other counselors, the principal, etc) ASAP about your concerns. And I mean ASAP. Don't let it snowball into something that could've been stopped in its infancy.
