McGill refused my bursary application too. I requested $3000, I think. I suspect they refused me because they're already giving me an entrance scholarship, not that it's huge :/

i haven't applied yet :S do you know the reason for the refusal? and martin. are u mcgill management?

They gave me a $12,000 entrance scholarship and refused me for bursary....i asked for $9000 hoping they would at least give me $2000

no scholarship :S Probably depends on how much your parents make/contribute and how much you're contributing. I got 3000 in Entrance Bursary with no scholarship.
