So, I really want to go Mcgill than Waterloo for Computer engineering (Possibably Electrical for McGill). However, everyone thinks Waterloo is better and I'm making the wrong choice plus McGill is more expensive since I'm out of province. I guess my main concern is missing the co-op experience that Waterloo offers. I want to successfully get a job after the degree in 4 years. Would McGill give me a harder time with that? Did I made the right choice? ahh

If you really want to go to McGill then yes, you made the correct choice.

McGill offers internships for engineering, so it will give you similar things that co-op would - connections, networking, experience, etc, which will help you in getting a job after graduation. If that is where you want to go, you should. Waterloo's great in the field, but I don't think you went wrong with McGill (though I might be biased and i'm just a HSer, but there are worse options ). ps. I'm not sure if it's different for all the engineering disclines or if you've checked it out already, but I know some need to take 5 years for engineering at McGill

I *think* it's 4.5 years for EE at McGill. 3.5 for me since I'm a CEGEP student, so it should be one more year for you.

Again, I *think* so, but I'm not entirely sure. You'd do well to check the site; I believe they have a list somewhere of classes/when they're taken/how long it takes.
