for nursing undergraduate,

does schools' reputaion really matter??

is Going to McMaster way better than going such as Laurentian, Lakehead, Ottawa or UC?

I don't think the school you choose will effect your chances of getting a job. However, it will effect the quality of education you recieve and McMaster is highly regarded as one of the top educational institutions.

Honestly, employers look at one thing and one thing only: the fact that you have your RN license

All nursing schools must be accredited to offer the nursing program. This means that they all follow the same guidelines and offer the same curriculum to the students.

A McMaster nursing student will be learning the same material that a Lakehead student will be learning. But, the quality of the education may be different, meaning that certain schools have better and more trained/educated staff than others.

I suggest looking at the CRNE success rates per school. That will give you a clear understanding of which one offers the best quality of learning.

But, from what I've heard, the best nursing schools in Ontario are UWO, McMaster, Ryerson (seriously) and Queens. Outside of province? Look into St. Francis Xavier
