lol, believe it or not there is an extra digit. It was given in the little secret sheet that had your school number, OUAC number and default password. The OUAC number was 7 digits long, but to log on to OUAC you only used the first 6. I don't know where you would be able to find it if you don't have you're sheet, but you do need it for the OSAP app because they ask for your FULL number

I'm not 100% sure, but guidance would be a good place as any to start if you lost your sheet. I don't remember the exact date that applications close, but it goes all the way into August, and part of September if I'm not mistaken. The sooner you submit it though, the sooner you'll start getting your checks to pay for school. To qualify for the Queen Elizabeth II scholarship you need to submit your application by July 15th I believe.

I thought everyone had the format 2008 - _ _ _ _ _ _ - 0? 0 at the end?

Oh well then there you go, my own was in the same formate, 2008-_ _ _ _ _ _-0. Still double check though, since two people with 0 at the end is hardly concrete evidence.

wtf! I only put my 6 last digits of OUAC account which was like 2008-123456
I knew there was a 7th spot on the application but i thought it was insignificant.
Do you think it's still ok? I mean, they didn't tell me to correct it or anything.

QEII Deadline is June 20th!!!!bigbadsheep wrote:I don't remember the exact date that applications close, but it goes all the way into August, and part of September if I'm not mistaken. To qualify for the Queen Elizabeth II scholarship you need to submit your application by July 15th I believe. You can technically apply to OSAP and eventually get the full amount of money until sometime well into the term, and then after that there's a deadline to be eligible for a partial amount of money. Now, if you don't want any undue delays in getting your money, I think they say 10 weeks before your program starts or something like that. Although in the past the QEII deadline was more at that point (late June) - if it is July 15th maybe they've changed their guidelines.

What should I Do!!!?
I didn't put zero at the end for my OUAC reference number!!!
It says to cancel the app, i need to call financial aid office ? LOL i think that'd be too much of a hassel for one small minor mistake.
I thought it was only 6 letters long since those are what I've been using whenver i log into OUAC.
Anyways, I should leave it be right? I mean, they have all my address, contact number, SIN number, my driver's licence number, my student ID number ...
I think they've got sufficient information to process everything normally, or contact me if there's a problem.
I shouldn't worry about this right?

I shouldn't worry about this right? I don't think it should be that big of a deal, maybe call tomorrow to make sure. But I'm pretty sure ALL ouac numbers for this year have that same format (according to what Queen's site said when I was on their ASQ), so OUAC should know it needed the 0 at the end and will probs fix it themselves?

Sorry for the misinformation. I was told though that the sooner you submit, the sooner they process you're app, I know about the date they start giving out cheques, I didn't mean like you'd end up getting money in July or August, but I was told the sooner they processed it, the quicker you'd get your money when they did start giving it out.

I just wanted to say that I spoke to my guidance counsellor today and he said that all you do is write your six digit number when completing the osap form. He even knew mine which was good to know lol.

Just need to send in 3 forms (signature ones) I was confused a lot when first starting out especially with the income. You said that it will cover everything so is it the case that you already have quite a bit saved up or your parents are covering the rest? Just asking because I'm approved for about $6500. Well this is for Fall/Winter Bus: $1,150 Tuition:$5,278 Books: $1,000 - $1,500 Total: $7,398 - 7,898 Yet I'll probably get less later because I'll have to tell OSAP that I'm getting a job and maybe a bursary I dunno yet YORK; Honors Arts - History Major/German minor?
