So you ranked your choices 1 to however.many.schools.you.applied.to. Just wondering how many have actually happily accepted their first choice. It seems alot are having second thoughts ie: I wanted to go sooo badly and now I'm not sure..... Just outta interest sake - let's have a roll call ... Assuming you received an Offer to your School of First Choice - did you accept??

Life isn't about fitting in - it's about standing out !!!

I was accepted to Brock University's Concurrent Education program (Intermediate/Senior Division) I ranked it as my first choice, but I ended up rejecting them, and going with my 4th or 5th choice, which was Laurier, I had 6 altogether.
I wasn't expecting to like it so much, but it is truly amazing how other factors besides the program itself can change your mind.

Me: having doubts... first choice wasn't really ranked on OUAC... I think I will probably accept first choice though.

What can u do with that degree? How is the job opportunity? I love english and the arts (history, philosophy, etc.) as they are my favorite subjects.. But i have to end up going into life science or biomedical science because those programs have higher job opportunities -.-...

If you aren't really going to enjoy what your studying at university, I would recommend rethinking the whole idea of going.

I think you only think they have higher job opportunities because you can associate familiar jobs with these degrees i.e. Doctor, other than that, I can't really think of many jobs off the top of my head that can be associated with Life Science or Biomedical Science either. Yes, there are probably many, but none that are specific to those degrees, same with degrees in English, Philosophy etc.

Success is not the key to happiness, happiness is the key to success. If you love what you do in life, you will be a success!!
