IMO it probably means you're not getting in since it's almost mid-may and they still haven't accepted you yet.

pending review means they havent made a decision yet =) its alright because the rest of us are the same. did you get the email from UT? i know for the commerce program they emailed us saying theyre making majority of their decisions mid-may. thats why my status is still 'pending review'. dont worry about it, by the end of next week or so it should change to decision pending =).

i know for sure it means they havent made a decision yet. because my UTM status said the exact same thing. but then one day it switched to decision pending, and then admitted. so just be patient =).

It means exactly what it sounds like - no decision yet. Try not to stress out too much! Some programs are slower than others to get word back. If the proceedure is the same for undergrads as for grads (and five years later, I honestly can't remember, though I did apply and was accepted), they'll pop off an email with an unofficial acceptance as soon as they're made the call.

It'll go to Decision Pending, and then most likely to a 'Rejection'. Happened to me, stayed at PR for such a long time. Last wave came out, mine stood at PR, changed to DP one night -- next day it was Rejection. This was for Commerce. I'm in Engineering now, the just passing club, horrendous GPA, might have to leave the country to go to school. In a couple years when you ask yourself, where did my life go wrong...it'll most likely be the rejection.

It won't be ruined, even if it comes down to worst case scenario! Just a little bit different than you'd planned. You can always reapply next year, with some work experience (and savings!) under your belt.
