I saw Fool's Gold like 2 weeks ago. It wasn't a movie that i would buy, but I enjoyed it even though the critics are saying it's not a good movie.

I watched The World According to Garp. It was funny, it was sad, it was off its rocker and it still worked. I think this might have been the only movie where Robin Williams was a serious character and was not extraordinarily scruffy.

A very long engagement .. hmm i have always wanted to see that one. I'm really into foreign films and documentaries right now. Amelie, Pans Labyrinth, Born into the Brothels (was really good, and if you like photography and capturing reality in developing countries, you'll like this movie) Does anyone have any recommendations for any foreign films or documentaries?

Okay i like the movies so i try to see as many as I can lately it was : Juno, August Rush, American Gangster, Hairspray, Little Miss Sunshine and Fools Gold. Now most of these movies i have seen at least a dozen times(no joke) and well the ones I saw for the first time i likes. Fools Gold was good because of a certain hottie(Matthew I LOVE YOU) but it also very funny. Juno LOVED IT. Ellen Page is just amazing and knowing a friend who has goen through teen pregnancy made it bitter sweet.

The Air I Breathe! It was something I've never seen before. Definitely watch it--had beautiful quotes, i love how it connected multiple people together through a crime and that it was like an indie kind of movie although 'big' names were in it. Forest Whitaker, Brendan Fraser, etc...

Atonement is really good.
My favourites are Crash, Blood Diamond and both Kill Bill movies. Superbad was good too.

I just watched Doomsday on Friday with my boyfriend and it really started to look like some sad horror movie, but it actually turned out to be way different. It wasn't bad but it lacked some professionalism. Also last night we watched Jumper, man did the camera guy suck! I got sick just trying to follow the view...

I've recently watched Across the Universe and I thought that it was amazing. Here's a little overview:
A dock worker Jude travels to America in the 1960s to find his estranged father. There he falls in love with sheltered American teenager Lucy. When her brother Max is drafted to fight in the Vietnam War, they become involved in peace activism. The film title and main characters are named after various songs by The Beatles.
Waiting on the world to change. ♥

It was reallly good i was so glue to it I couldn't believe myself. This one is a must see. You will enjoy and keep singing even after the movie lol. I felt exactly the same way. I hate musicals, but Sweeny Todd and Across the Universe have changed my mind a bit. I have downloaded all the music from the Across the Universe Soundtrack, I love it. Even my dad, who is not big on musicals watched the movie with me. I thought he was going to get up several times throughout the movie and leave, but I think he actually enjoyed it. In part because he grew up during those times (A few years younger than the characters in the movie though), and grew up with the Beatles music, so I think he was interested on the movies take.

A disney/Pixar movie people are going to definitely check out is WALL*E. Watch the trailer for it on YouTube. It looks like a cute kids movie that even adults can enjoy. Similar to Toy Story etc.. Thankfully it's one of the movie trailers I actually enjoy hearing while working at the theater, I'm pretty sure the video they play in the lobby repeats every 10 minutes. Ugh.
