LOL, yeah I kinda knew that, but like why would you decide to name your sports teams that? Even a team with a weird name, like the Ottawa Gee Gees has a meaning. In horse racing, a Gee Gee is the first horse out of the gates, so that has some athletic symbolism, Ottawa - come out strong, play hard etc. But WTF is a Gael? They were founded by a Scottish guy and so are slightly obsessed with Scottish things. They also have a bagpipe band.

Heyhey, I'm rejecting Queens Life Sci for Western's Bio Med Based upon the previous posts, you seem to be a statistical outlier. Out of curiosity, why Western? There are some similarities in their offerings, what in particular tipped the scale for you?

PS do you know how we're supposed to indicate that we're going to do SE for that particular program or is it just automatically expected once we accept UWO that we're also accepting our SE offer?

Either way, they were both ridiculously easy to get into. IMO, I can get the higher GPA at western but still get a decent education, plus western's dentistry program makes it easier by giving you the specific undergrad reqs you need (with western course codes) CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL. Question 1: Studing Arts and Humanities. Question 2: There was a form sent to us about SE that we were supposed to fax to Western by May 28. I already got a confirmation email. If you didn't fax the form, I would call Western now.

I got a letter a while back but I don't recall anything about may 28 on that I just pulled my binder out of my backpack...it was called the "Scholar's Electives Program Acceptance Form." It was sent from Western not long after the acceptance-to-SE email we got, and it says in big bold letters it must be faxed to them by May 28. It also says "Failure to return the form to Western by May 28 MAY result in the cancellation of your offer to the Scholar's Electives Program." Note the "may." Useful Info: The number it should have been faxed to: 519-850-2423 Registrar's Ofice: 519-661-2100

crap.
But then again, the fact that they bothered to accept you to SE in the first place shows that they want you to go there, and considering that the deadline was just last Wednesday, they may not have had time yet to accept someone in your place (especially considering how insane their week must have been, with random people calling and demanding to know why they weren't accepted....). So if you call them, they just might be able to sort things out for you. You could also email them, to be doubly sure.

no but you guys don't understand. i'm screwed on multiple levels. i accepted genetics and biochem but i've come to realize that my interests are not in line with that anymore and that i should have accepted my economics offer and only taken science courses as electives. I'm lost on multiple levels and I can't discuss with them readmitting me and then go about and change my admission through ouac on top of that and quite honestly, i just don't feel mentally prepared to go to university. i don't know what i want to do with the rest of my life, i lack direction or purpose, and i just don't have the organizational skills. i think all this shows me is proof that i am not ready for university.
