i love how they can tell us that for nursing
but when we ask about business they tell you jack sh!t.
hence why the chat was useless.. they couldnt answer one question i had.

i think it's gonna be around low 80's, since no one has been accepted that has under 81 i believe, right?

The original cut-off was 75%-80%. They send out admissions to people who are above the cut-off first. With your average, you just met the minimum requirements so you'll hear from ryerson by the latest is mid-May, exact last day is May 16 I believe. So don't panic yet, there's hope and chances are you'll get accepted. smile

You're an ontario high school student applicant right? And you applied through the OUAC 101? It's mandatory for universities to prioritize and make all decisions (accept/reject/waitlist/etc.) by mid-May for high school students.
You're not screwed, there's still time! big grin It's only early May..

I went to my guidance counsellor today.. She refused to call Ryerson and said they sent out offers based on averages, also, alphabetically in order.

I was like.. Well, my last name starts with a B, so wouldn't I have heard by now? She said to give it time. hahaha, my guidance office is useless.

So you should call up Ryerson and talk to them and see what's up with your offer.

I have a feeling that I'm not going to get any information from them... has anyone else tried calling?

Yeah it shows up on the portal account but you won't recieve the offer on OUAC until like 2 - 3 days. Also I would suggest waiting upoin the mail for the letter to tell you what condition you need if there is any.

But Congrats!!!

hahaha hopefully not. I like to move around more than staying at one, I think people on this forum going to Ryerson should have a meet up.

Haha, yeah me too. I'd probably hang out in the library or athletic centre too. Plus, ryerson is right downtown, next to the eaton's centre, so much to do! cheers
Ooh, that'd be cool if people going to ryerson on this forum met up.. it'd be like.. "hey.. your that person I talked to on the student award's forum?" eek! Haha..smile
