Grade 12 was not my year... I go to a non semestered school and havent got accepted anywhere as yet. Im also not doing too well in my courses. Heres what got submitted in the first transmission in February:
Bio: 90 Chem: 70 Advanced Functions: 71 English: 84 Physics: 78 Calculus: (No Mark - Too early) ILC-Individuals in a Diverse Society (No Mark- Too early)
That left my average at 78.6
Today was the final day that marks were going into the report card thats coming out april 4th...I'm not sure if the marks will be altered for the transmission on April 22 but i doubt it.
Bio: 85 Chem: 70 Advanced Functions: 71 English : 84 Physics: 78 ILC -Individuals in a Diverse Society - No mark Calculus: 45 (YEAH I KNOW THATS BAD- itll go up for sure cause i wrote my test today and did great and this mark was only based on one bad test and two okay quizzes)
So definetely my calculus mark will go up to atleast at 75 by the end of April and an 80 by the time school ends. My ILC course will have a grade at about 85 + but they said its too early to put a mark on.
Is there ANY hope at all that I'll get into any of the universities I applied to for my program? :
Waterloo - Life Sci Univeristy of Toronto- St George - Life Sci Univeristy of Toronto - Scarborough - Life Sci Univeristy of Toronto - Mississauga - Life Sci McMaster - Life Sci
Or do you know anyone who got into any of these programs at these universities with low marks..what were they like if so?

I'll give you random bits of information I have and hope they're helpful....
Mcmaster's Lifesci is 83-86. Once they mail you the acceptance (if it's early) you have to maintain an 84 to stay in the program. Unless you get your av to an 83, your chances are slim of getting into lifesci at mac.
UofT has slightly lower standards for admission for a fact. You may have a chance. But getting in is easy, staying in is another thing.
Where else did you apply? Just try to get your chemistry grade up to an 80+.

I don't know about your situation in grade 12 or the reasons why you're not doing well. However, university is much more difficult and its' much better to redo a course, or a victory lap, to get better marks (better scholarships?) and more importantly a good foundation of knowledge, then ending up dropping out of uni and losing 5k in tuitions... I had the same situation too. My family moved last year so I ended up in a school whose courses are not semastered. I wasted a lot of my time trying to meet the provincial graduation requirements ( it sucks@!) my average dropped too, but stay hopeful and work harder!

You're doing somewhat decent in the sciences which is a decent start, but that calc mark is gonna kill you. Going from a 45 to a 75 isnt gonna be as easy as you expect it will be - those early few tests will always hold you back. But then again I shouldnt discourage you, it could be possible. As others have said I dont think you would get into mac or UofT. I would seriously consider a victory lap bro.

Keep the faith. I don't know if its too late, but try switching some of your applications to programs that don't require some of your subjects that have low grades. I know a lot of undergrad programs don't require calculus ie- Guelph Biological Sciences, York Biochemistry etc.
A live body and a dead body contain the same number of particles. Structurally, there's no discernible difference. Life and death are unquantifiable abstracts. Why should I be concerned?

Keep in mind that once you get to mcmaster, you STILL have to keep up marks to get into the second year program of your choice.
