I don't understand how teachers can give 99% in classes other than math and science. The highest mark my law teacher has ever given is a 95 ONCE and he has been teaching for seven years... You just have to be really good at writing essays and bs-ing your way through tests. Some teachers have this weird complex about giving out high marks, but in most classes you can get really high marks just by showing interest in class and being thorough in the work you submit.

^ Unless of course your school has a policy where they never give over 96% in any class (unless it's a math or science course) in order to account for 4% human error. Stupidest. Rule. Everrr. If I haven't made those errors, why am I being punished for it!? argggg. :\ Favorite course was Grade 10 history because we did a bunch of first-person perspective writing assignments. Anddd, my grade 11 and 12 religion classes because we got to argue about morality. Such good discussions!

Literature Studies: Mysteries and Suspense
The only reason I took this course was because of the genre it was covering. Had it been anything else, no way would I have taken this course. Apparently at my school a while ago it was Can. Lit. but the department head decided to change the reading material, because it was boring thank goodness, haha.
