I've been accepted to Laurier Brantford for concurrent Ed (junior-intermediate) and I just want to know more about it. It says "Comtemporary Studies". Does that mean this has to be my major? Or can I choose a different major when I get there? What I mean is, is it possible to have a major that will count towards a teachable so that my minor can also count towards a teachable? ... so that I can still be open to teach highschool? Or do all Con Ed students have to major in Comtemporary Studies? I'd really appreciate some answers, THanks smile

I can't really answer your questions, but I'd visit Brantford's campus before making a final decision. Downtown is kind of sketchy, especially at night.

Thanks, yeah I've heard that before actually and I'm going to see the campus pretty soon. The reason I'm looking at Laurier is because I love the thought of being in a classroom first year. I'm also accpeted to Brock but I'm a little more nervous about that one because of the really strict maintaining of the 75 average and I've heard you don't start practice teaching until your 3rd year or so. So with that said, I really need advice!
