I've got a super awesome internship lined up for the summer in DC. Except its unpaid which is a problem. I was wondering if people knew of places to apply for grants or scholarships to go internships or projects that isn't my university's internship office (because they are too cheap to foot the bill- future McGillians beware, you're getting a darn good name but nothing else really)? I'd really appreciate the help! Thanks!

I'm just wondering who you are expecting to pay for you to internship if not the company you are interning for? Who else would have a vested interest in what you are doing?

I have come across some places that are associated with internship funding here and there, no idea where or when though.. I know it exists though, maybe too specific for you tho.

hmm I didn't know of this but I'd also be interested

going to San Fran to work (unfortunately unpaid unless the startup gets some customers over the summer) and some grants would be awesome! I know they exist but not sure where to look
