I have been reading this thread for a while & I don't know what has taken me so long to join! Anyway, for those of you who have an offer admission, what are the conditions you have to maintain for your offer?

Queen's Coned is my top choice & I don't know how much longer I can wait for a response!

Thank you for your help smile Good luck to everyone!

I haven't got accepted yet either, but I've heard the conditional offer is 80%! Queen's Con-Ed is my first choice too!

Thank you! Does anyone know if there is a difference between decision pending and your application is complete? Mine finally changed to your application is complete, but I don't know if that has any significance.

Hmm, I don't know if the conditional offers differ between applicants, but my letter says, "You must achieve a final minimum average of 75 percent. You final average will be calculated using the English prerequisite and five additional courses that satisfy the admission requirements of this program at Queen's University".

So, five courses plus English. I thinkkk two of those other courses had to be U level as well.

There absolutely is! big grin Decision pending means they haven't looked at your application/made a decision yet. Application complete means they've now looked at your application and probably made a decision. It should update in the next few days!

Also, if you applied for a bursary, check your status. If it says you were given a bursary, obviously you got in even if your application status is still at "Your application is complete"

Thank you Cdoodles!

I will definitely meet the conditional offer if it is the same for everyone.

big grin I hope they update it soon! You just made my day by saying that haha Unfortunately, I missed the deadline for a bursary, so I can't look there.

Hmm, and they won't take your bursary application now? I thought I read somewhere that they were still accepting them...

If they aren't, I know there's another round of general bursaries that you can apply for in the fall.

Actually, I'm sorry, but there absolutely is not.
I called Queen's to ask them upon submitting my application because I thought that if it didn't change to "application complete" before March 1st that perhaps they hadn't seen my application yet.
They said it's just when they get around to updating it.
That was also cited by someone else earlier in the thread.
But no big deal.
I just want decisions, decisions, decisions ALREADY.

Perhalps they have viewed your application even if your status has not been updated to reflect that. But if your status reads as complete, you can be assured that your application has at least been looked at. That's my impression anyway.

Plus, I've noticed that those whose ASQ changed to "your application is complete" generally found out about their admission status a few days later.

At leasts it's changee, however small. It's one step closer to finding out for sure.

The question is...where have you heard this? Because mine, too, remains to read DECISION PENDING and my heart is beginning to writher. My average is well above the cut-off, but I did take a rather playful approach with my essays/statements. Perhaps they didn't appreciate that. : P

Well, I hope for both our sakes, that you're wrong in saying that, haha.

Mhmmm!
Which makes me nervous.. my 2nd semester marks aren't too high above the cutoff.. only an 88.5%.
And my status is still decision pending. Queen's reassured me on that one a while ago, but you guys somehow still manage to shake my nerves.

You guys here make me laugh.
