I'm going to be applying to university soon, and being the keener that I am I'm convinced that I need to have my plan ready right now.
So far, I've decided that I want Vic One at U of T. I'm an IB student, and about 4 people in the graduating class this year have gotten in in my school (it's a small school, about 60 people in the grade), so I don't know if that means I have a good chance of getting in? Does anyone know?
Anyways, I have a problem college-wise.
I want to stay in the burwash halls at Vic College, but that's not guaranteed unless I actually get into Vic One, right? They have a lottery system or something?
So, if I make Victoria college my first choice and Woodsworth my second choice, and then I don't get into Vic One but I get into Victoria College, is it possible for me to go to Woodsworth? (I love the residence to pieces). Or can you only get into one college, and if you get your first, you just get your first?
Sorry this is so specific, but I hope someone can help me!!

Don't you have to submit an application to be in Vic One?
And I do believe the deadline for that has already passed.

UofT uses a horrid procedure of ranking acceptance in my opinion.
When you rank anything in their system (wether it be colleges or engineering specializations), as soon as one of your choices is accepted, the rest become void and they do not consider you for your lower choices and you cannot 'move a level down'.

I know it has, I haven't applied for university, I'm in grade 11, so that's not until november for me.

And thanks a lot for the answersmile. That kind of ruins my plan B. Stupid U of T.

Vic One is a foundation year program: http://www.vicu.utoronto.ca/vic/one.htm
