I would still go, but would be FAR more happy with what I have and would be able to actually not stress over money! My weakness wouldn't be spending money on huge things though, I would just be spending too much time with all the video games I would buy ;)

Really though, if I won a million, I would donate 1/3 to selected charities and give to family members, I would invest 1/3, and I would spend how I wish (casually day-to-day, not buy a huge house or anything, I don't really care for those) the last 1/3, most on schooling I guess.

Most definitely, I would go to school. although the lottery is one of the many aspirationas that everyone imagines or I should say hopes to achieve one day. so is a higher education. the money is great and all but gettting an education last a longer time because as the typical saying goes...Knowledge is power and power is knowledge rather than money lol. atleast with an education it's something you can really reflect on and be proud of the hard work it took to get the degree/diploma/ or certificate. That is my input for the day of May 7, 2008

I'd still definitely go to University, though instead of learning business/engineering/life sci, I'd probably major in Math/Philosophy. BA ftw.

It depends on the amount. $1 million? You can't retire early on $1 million these days, so going to university would be a wise investment. But let's say it was something pretty outrageous, like $29 million? Could you actually attend classes and concentrate on your studies while being pestered by a whole bunch of starving students trying to suck some money out of your pockets because they can't manage their money and can't afford to buy their own beer? Probably not.

Sure. But I'd apply and send out supplementary applications to all the universities that I never ever wanted to go to, but are so prestigious, and write what I really think of them on 'em.

I would definitely still go to school. I would be able to study whatever caught my interest without having to worry about my degree leading to a good job!

I would go to school, and actually live much the same as I do now... it'd just be less stressful.

as crazy as this sounds i dont want to win the lottery. my sister is two years younger then me and my dad has bought her a 2007 altima, pays for all her expenses, and now hes in the middle of buying her a four bedroom house. (did i mention my sister is only 17??) ive seen what money does to people. she appreciates nothing in life because she has never had to work for it. i beleive that it just makes people less appreciative. I would still go to school to feel accomplished. another thing.....everyone hates rich people who are stupid lol

What on earth? I pity her! How did your sister get this treatment and you didn't?

PS: I would definitely still go to school.

Everybody love to won the lottery and it is our chances to go to the best school like in the United States or United Kingdom.
Education is still important and can use whenever we go.

I would DEFINATELY go to school.. Actually, I would follow my dreams. I want to study in Australia! I want to get my BA in Education there, for only a year. The only thing stopping me is money. It's $15,000 for tuition alone, that doesn't even include living costs! But I guess I'll continue borrowing more and more money from OSAP... And go to Carleton for 4 years, when I can get my BA in australia in just one.. If only I had more money.. OSAP will be giving me the same amount, just over 4 years..

What if you married rich, and then divorced? And you didn't get anything.. Then you wouldn't have any money or any education..

This is the wrong question to ask

the right question is

will you still go to university if every job had the same pay grade

Yes! My boyfriend and I talk about this all the time... I would definatley still go to school if I won the lottery...however, he says he wouldn't...I just don't understand his thinking.
And to the above question... I believe I still would go to school
