I would still go to university! I would get a degree, and then start on my career.
Having the extra money would be great. I could start my own charitable organization!

Yes. I was willing to come out of school with loads of debt just because I think it can teach me something that I can't learn outside of it. To have the money to be able to afford to go to school without loans, well that only pushes me to go even more.
The greatest danger for most of us is not that we aim too high and we miss it, but we aim too low and reach it.

Tho money can buy a lot of things, knowledge is one thing it cant buy, so of course I will still go to school. But I will do that with a ease of mind of not having to pay off truckloads of debt later

I would still go for sure! Let's face it, I don't want to be a teacher for the money. Life is about learning and living. It would be sweet to not have to worry about tuition though!

It depends on how much money I won. $100,000 is a lot different than $1mm and $1mm is a lot different than $10mm, etc.

I think win the lottery means all numbers right, so we're talking 8 digits. Basically, you couldn't spend the interest on that unless you live really rich. If you leave it for 10 years, you prolly culdn't spend the interest anyways.

lol reading all of these would make one assume that there are actually students out there who like school! Yeah, I'm one of 'em too. But I do know many, many people who would jump at any chance they could not to go to school anymore. What better opportunity than the lottery? Honours English Major/History Minor, York '12Stong Rez

I would keep going to school, too! And donate to my school's student food bank, and sponsor students in need. As a nursing student, I see my education as a vital part of my life, as a tool to help me do what I want to do in life. Of course, with lottery winnings I would take a few weeks off to go lie on a beach in the Caribbean!

I would definatly go to school. I would likely become one of those students who ends up with like 6 useless degrees.

I think a better question is if you would change what program you would attend for University. Personally, I feel winning the lottery would have a huge impact on what I major in.

Yeah, because I'd totally be able to pay off everything for university and still live the good life. It's a win win situation.

I'd definitely stay in school. I'd have an awesome amount of money to be able to contribute to my education and wouldn't have to worry about the situation of having a place to live. If it's enough money, you could have it gaining a lot of interest while you're in school too, so it's working for you just by sitting there Accepted to Carleton University, Honours Bachelor of Arts in Law
