My childhood dream(and current one) is to be a writer, I've known I wanted to be one since the second grade and I'm still just as into it as ever. But to be realistic I know have to have a backup which I have no idea about, all my current backups are just as unrealistic as being a writer(in the sense I probably couldn't make a living) oh well I'll figure it out smile

+1, this post describes my life smile

I still want to become a writer but figured, I should go into science and perhaps do a minor in English or something.
I have like millions of stories flying in my head but I'm experiencing such a bad case of writer's block =(

Isn't it awful? You have the story, but you just can't write it, and everyones like "If the stories in your head, just write it!" But I caaaaaaaan't and no one can understand why!

That is why one should write EVERYDAY. It certainly helps. I use to write everyday up until Grade 9. I've felt such a deterioration in my writing skills as a result.

+4 and then you start to write it down but it just doesn't seem to work so you stop.

Yeah, every day is two words...and you wrote in the quote box. Nice writing skills there.

It took me like three minutes to figure out what she had said, because I didn't see your post above. It was a big 'WTF' moment.

I have all these unfinished stories on my computer just begging to be finished but I can't! It's so annoying. I even came up with a new story but I can't figure out the perfect beginning! Sucks even more because I'm a perfectionist so until I get it perfect, I can't continue.
