I always used to want to be a singer, a dancer, an artist and a teacher all in one....I used to draw pictures of me doing those jobs all the time. The thing is I'm a horrible singer and a not so good dancer. I however still do thsoe two things all the time. I tutor kids and I love to learn and teach. BUt thesea re my pst times.. Now my dreams have changed. It's very interesting to me how many young kids dream of becoming things as firefighters for boys and girls want to be teachers or singers. It's a bit like a social stereotype of gender roles. At such a young age we learn to differentiate between genders.

My ultimate dream was to be a hockey reporter.... [Journalism, Print or Broadcast...]

Now, I've applied for Sports Buisness Administration @ Durham College [ I have a conditional offer.]
Now, it has helped my dream to work with a hockey team... smile

I wanted to be a doctor when I was young. However, I realised that my strengths were not in science, but in social sciences.

When I was younger my dream was to become a singer. That idea is ridiculous to me know because I can barely hit a single note! colors

Later in elementary school I wanted to be a teacher and that dream stayed with me up until now. I am going to be a grade 1-3 teacher.

I wanted to be an Olympic figure skater, volleyball and field hockey player.

Didn't quite work out, unfortunately. Quit skating, ranked around 60th or so in the nation pre-novice and am only good for provincial development field hockey team.

Stopped playing volleyball this year. Don't really know why I did it. How unfortunate!!!

Oh well! smile
