Well, I changed it! Hopefully no other active member has this one so I don't confuse anyone else! And woot! Prom tomorrow! ooooo have fun!!!! Thanks! I'm so excited! Got my hair done at 10am, my friends came over and dropped their stuff off, and soon we'll be getting all dolled up! The only downside is, it is SO hot out right now! The first hour of our prom is getting professional pictures done outside and I think I'll DIE! Oh well, who cares? It's prom! After prom my friends and I are gonna watch movies and stay up all night! That's right, no after party for us. We're just not party-ers. I have work tomorrow though. I may be bone tired tomorrow, but I think it's worth it. yah, no "after-party" for me either, having a sleep-over then heading off camping that may turn into a bush party. Pourquoi?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf94uiIbItg

Actually, we're going under the pretense of camping for the sake of camping (otherwise, a couple of my friends wouldn't be allowed to come). We're bringing a canoe, marshmallows etc. If alcohol just happens to show up, then well, we can't be held accountable, can we? Pourquoi?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf94uiIbItg

I will never understand some parents.. These kids are graduating from high school, surely they are responsible enough to go have a booze sesh.. Nevertheless some parents are stupid.. Which makes your plan sound excellent.

Prom was expensive. (Spent over $1000 including dress, hair, accessory, limo, tickets, makeup, etc.) I had fun, but I didn't think that it was worth that much money. lol. There are cheaper ways to have even greater fun. I just think of prom as an extravagant ceremonial tradition. lol UBC Bachelor of Science 2012 — Major in Computer Science

mine wasn't as bad ....i got a free new prom dress ...they were giving dresses away ..one day only event. so I just bought new heels to go along with it, i got jewelery and make up and hair products when i recieved my dress and prom was fun....i knew everyone in my graduating class since were a really tiny school out in the country. but ours was 75 for a 4 course meal, professional DJ, professional photos..i only spent about a 100 in total! mine was funny cause the awards handed out were like who had the best but, best eyes, likely to skip the most...

Our school didn't get a prom this year and the grad population was royal pissed. The boat cruise was lame but the Banquet was fun, mostly picture taking dancing with parents and of course eating. The after party for both was awesome. We had a mock casino, air brush tattoos, and of course dancing(w/ glow sticks ;)) Good times.
