theres nothing wrong with drinking on prom... just be responsible about it and dont get yourself in a dangerous situation.. enjoy your night with your friends.. and if you have a gf/bf its just that much easier cause neither of you really care to compare with other people... (at least in my school thats how it was... the couples were far from the people going overboard over it)

What is this? A forum for superheroes to gather and discuss about the dangers of the world? They should teach kids what irony means with your post.

Well rlrlrl, for someone who doesn't want to dissect posts, you sure do have an awful lot of free time on your hands And did you help anyone with your sarcastic response? Who said he was here to help anyone at all?[Did you really imagine I was trying to help anyone? Perhaps I was merely trying to invoke amusing comment from people such as yourself. I know I've had quite a few laughs already. Your whole argument rests on one point; that there are "bigger battles" out there. What is this? A forum for superheroes to gather and discuss about the dangers of the world? Actually no, that's not what my argument rests on at all. Had you read my post properly, without trying to start a debate, you'd see I was mocking the idea of "bigger issues" to highlight the overcomplication of the "meaning of prom". This you could have guessed from my continual use of overly verbose wording. As for your mention of "a forum for superheroes to gather and discuss about the dangers of the world", how clever of you! I have to admit I had a laugh over that. Although you have to admit it's somewhat amusing we're posting on a forum run by studentawards.com, a website frequented by students who are brilliant academically, strong leaders, and are devoted to many charitable causes. They should teach kids what irony means with your post.Just as they should demonstrate the meaning of wantonness with your's. Of course, you could make the same argument against mine. In fact, if you so chose, you could go about twisting and dissecting my current post with as much finesse as you did my last. I, as could be predicted, would probably respond by doing the same. So my point is, if you do have the time, then please, by all means, continue to amuse yourself. I had a few spare moments, so that's why I posted my original post. Honestly, don't get yourself so upset over my anonymous forum post and random outbursts of randomness, check my sig, it really isn't anything new. But like I said before, if you have time, feel free to point out my circular arguments or the ridiculous nature of my comments. I look forward to reading them Pourquoi?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf94uiIbItg

So, question to everyone in general: Do supervisors at your schools search your limos for alcohol? I know they didn't at my school in the past, but since we got booted from every hall within 50 km of our school they've been pretty strict about this. (not that searching limos would prevent alcohol from getting into prom of course ) Pourquoi?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf94uiIbItg

no limo searching, but we're having a private security service there + 50 teachers. uber lame.
but we're doing pre-drinking before we get into the limo, and then going try our best to act sober while entering the hall.

Very convenient. So you're basically saying he can't rant because he's over-complicating what you think to be a simple matter. Good idea! You should definitely help everyone on the forums who does that. Tell me when you're done. Quote: Just as they should demonstrate the meaning of wantonness with your's.
Key words: just as. So this would only be true if your post is ironic. And if it indeed is ironic, which it is, then my post would no longer demonstrate "wantonness". Thank you. Please quote me. 2. Upset? Because you clearly directed your original post to me. Oh wait, clearly you're the one who's upset from my bad joke. You assume a lot of things, srsly.

prom is going to be so fun! our prom is at the very end of june, after exams, so for mony people, it will be the last time i see them. my friends and i are doing the whole limo to prom, after-prom, then after-after-prom party at someone's house. i have an amazing date, and it's going to be great.
i dont mind spending money on this, for me it's worth it. i know that i will remember it for a while, because it's such a special night, and I get to spend so much time with my friends.
and i'm only paying about $250 for it. for a limo, tux, two tickets... not bad! and since i have a job, i dont mind paying it. isn't that really all that matters?

Well, it takes 6 weeks to get the dress, cause it's busy around this time of year, and they are pretty much making the dress from scratch. This is the link: http://stores.ebay.ca/angelbride520Hope you find what you're looking for Honours BA with specialization in French-English Translation Minor in German University of Ottawa '12

hmmm, awfully cheap dresses ( in terms of price, can't comment on quality for obvious reasons) Anyone actually order their dress off the internet? Personally, I've heard of too many horror stories ( dress wrong size, wrong style, received 6 months late or never) Pourquoi?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf94uiIbItg

Steven Same Steven, I go to a high school in Ottawa as well! Anyways, our prom is totally separate from our school, as we have a bunch of girls running ours and its at the end of June. Only bad thing is that its on a Sunday, so lots of girls are complainin that hair salons wont be open (this rly doesnt affect me tho). I'm just buying a new shirt/tie for my current jacket/pants as I don't have that much money to spend on renting a tux/suit (tbh i can't tell the difference between a suit and what i'm wearing). Anyways I'll have spent $200+ on the actual ticket and limo, and drinks for the night.
