so I am looking into getting a new iPod (I currently have a 30gb video), and I was looking at the 32gb iPod touch. What I'm wondering, is if there's a day planner/agenda that you can edit. Add tests, appointments, stuff like that.

Yep the software does have a day planner. However you can't add appointments on the Ipod Touch which is crap. I was in the same situation as you and I recommend getting a Palm Pilot instead. The Ipod video is great and is really everything you need. The Ipod Touch is really just for show and the price will drop significantly in the near future, its a waste of money to buy it now. You can get Palm Pilots that can access the internet, view pictures and videos, even play music. I can't live without mine, they're the best for organizing your schedule.

Which iPod touch do you have? I read a review that said previously you couldn't edit/add, but with the january upgrade srvice pack you could. Or if you buy one after January 2008 you could edit/add apointments and such.

Yup with the new update you can add/edit appointments. It's close to an iPhone, without the calling/texting ability.
