hah your going to come to ontario this september and become illegal. that just sucks.

Assuming you are talking about parents allowing their kids to drink at home, drinking, and getting drunk are two different things. Lots of parents allow their kids to drink a beer or two at a family gathering or wine with dinner or something like that. I don't think any parent allows their kid to get hammered. And personally, I know that a lot of immigrant parents from the Caribbean, Latin America etc. don't care much about how much their 18 year old kids drinks (unless it begins to show alcoholism) because it's the legal age in their home country, and is something they are accustomed and comfortable with. My parents allow my foreign friends to drink at our family parties, but won't allow my Canadian friends too, and when at my friends' house with foreign parents they allow us to drink. It all depends on the parents. I'm foreign if you can't tell LOL.

I wish I lived in Alberta... Don't remind me. It kills me. I only have like 4 and a half months to enjoy the bar. oh well. I assume first year university is pretty gong show even if you're an underager.

not being legal sucks... it should be 18 everywhere, its stupid that its different ages in different provinces...
