Meh, London is an OK city. I wouldn't say it is definitively better than Hamilton or K-W though.

There's things to do around campus, and the engineer students have fun in their own special ways, but he says as for the city itself, there is not much to do, unless your into sightseeing and nature walk type stuff.

LOL well if you are going into engineering you'll have fun. My cousin wasn't much of a party animal or heavy drinker, but so far he's told me three times for the year he's gotten so drunk he had to be guided home by friends, and he's juiced at almost every party he goes to. The upper years had a Slosh the Frosh weekend, where they led the frosh to the engineering house, but on the way jumped them, and sprayed them with beer, got them drunk before they even got to the house, and when they got there, it was even more drinking. So if that's your scene, go for it LOL.

Nope. Your teacher's daughter must be an idiot: there are plenty of quiet places to study (e.g. any one of the number of campus libraries).

I heard there was good golf. I heard it from a kid who I doubt has ever touched a golf club in his life. Can anyone confrim this, cuz if so, I;m bringing my clubs up for sure... well I am anyway, but it'd make me happy. I'm talking about Queen's.

Also, does it matter if Kingston is a bit of a bore if the campus is so great?

Why are you asking in a UWO thread whether or not Queen's has golf? UWO is in London in case you didn't know.

Obviosly because 1/2 the convo turned to other schools. I know where UWO is, ty for the info. Queen's is in Kingston, UT is in toronto, McGill is in Montreal, and UBC is in Vancouver or Okanagen... (I'm filling all this info in because clearly Aestas has an interest in.. schools and their locations? "UWO is in London in case you didn't know."

Anyway, any info would be great, otherwise, back to your Westernish Western Westerntalks.
