I'm sure we're all mature enough to talk about this. Good or bad? I say bad! Especially when they become your ex! It sucks seeing them around all the time...

I've heard floorcest is among the ranks of c-blocking, a definite no-no.

Keyword being majority, I take pride in being a minority An addition to my last post, does it count if you and the girl both agree that it is only for physical purposes and you are not engaging in an emotional relationship?

To add to this topic
I don't think the random on your floor hook up is the worst. Haven't we all messed around with some random in our school then had to see them on Monday? Its only awkward if you make it awkward. If you're chill then its not that bad.
I could see how like seriously dating someone on your floor could be bad once you broke up though.

All-girls. OH Story: My friend dated a girl on his floor for like... well, they started end of first year to maybe November/December second year. Then he broke up with her. Then she turned psycho. Then she called the police and told them he was dealing (which he was), and aimed a gun at her (which I don't think is true) and almost ran her over with his car (which I don't think is true). So now basically his life is ruined if he is convicted. But, I mean, that could happen with anyone really, floorcest or not.

I can all but guarantee that at least one, likely a lot more, people will commit floorcest. It's just too darn convenient when they're just down the hall. I don't think it's a real issue, especially if you don't enter into a relationship.

I don't know. If a guy broke up with me, I mean, I am sure I would be a little upset. If he cheated on me, and was basically a piece of dirt, I still wouldn't do something like that.

Wow sexist.... obviously those cases are extremely rare. Often they are not even true because people like to expand on what really happened for dramatic effect.
And 'guys are more emotionally stable' thats ridiculous. You're portraying girls to be out of control emotional wrecks which is obviously untrue.
Come on.

Come on. Watch out guys. We've got another emotionally unstable female on our hands. Shows signs of heavy feminism. Avoid at all costs.

Come on. go look up gender differences between males and females among infants, children, adolescents and adults before you make the assertion that something is "obviously untrue" come on.

feminism: a political/social/cultural movement towards the equality of men and women.
if you disagree with that, you're an idiot.
Also just because I'm arguing against what you're saying, that makes me emotionally unstable? Wow.
I think its quite obvious that girls are not out of control emotional wrecks which is what was implied. Show me a study on gender differences that shows anything more than a slight difference in emotional behaviour between the sexes.

Come on. Where did I say anything about girls being out of control emotional wrecks? I simply said that women tend to be less emotionally-stable. Why do you think women cry more than men? Men tend to be more logical where as women tend to rely on emotion.

Men tend to be more logical where as women tend to rely on emotion. You're saying that a whole gender is less emotionally stable AND tends to forgo logic for emotion. These are really strong things to say and you're generalizing big time. Especially since these arguments were used to explain a probably untrue occurrence of a girl going berserk on an ex. Some women cry more than men, some women are more emotional. It's incorrect to say an entire gender behaves this way. 1 We are from Mac! 2 A little bit louder! 3 I still can't hear you! 4 more more more... Not an entire gender behaves in such a way but a large enough percentage of it does to assert the difference in genders. Not all guys are straight either but it isn't incorrect to say that guys typically like girls. Look up gender differences on wikipedia.
