$46, 000 (23,000 x 2 years) for grad school @ Queen's.

That's pretty darn impressive for grad studies in something like Theology ;)

I've got about the same for CS (NSERC + Tuition).

The Queen's Theological College seems to be very well endowed big grin

-$30 (negative $30) from all the costs of applying for scholarships and I had the misfortune of losing my $2000 U of T entrance scholarship due to inconsistency in my mark (dropped too much).

That'll just result in a continual increase in his negative "winnings".

I see your post count is beginning to rival mine young padawan. We haven't had a rumble in a while either. So sad.

Oh yeah, lemme add them ALL up.... multiply by pie... take derivative of e^x

That's $0 =)

I'm assuming you mean multiplying by the derivative of e^x, because e^x will not equal 0 for any value of x; it'll only approach it at negative infinity. =)

What are you talking about?

He's implying that sum of ALL his scholarship is Zero, thus any multiples will also be 0 regardless of whether it be a pie or deriviative of e^x.

That's why I said I assumed he meant multiplying by the derivative of e^x, because seeing the way it was worded, it could be interpreted like "or the derivative of e^x".. which doesn't make any sense. =P

Either way, I was just trying to poke some fun at math. Way to rain on the parade.

Hmm.. however, if you multiplied it by the limit as x approaches infinity of the derivative of e^x.. it wouldn't be zero..

I turned down $50000 at U o f C to go to U of A, which means I get to live at home! At U of A I got $22000 for my first year, and a $7500 one given out over years 2, 3 and 4.

33 scholarships? i really couldn't find more than 6 that i would have really fit for and only applied to four or five (five if you count an online app that was more of a draw than anything)
