I say... McGill's location with a certain McMaster's program with Queen's student-filtering-method, Western's school pride, UBC's weather, Guelph's food, Waterloo's co-op and U of T's recognition and funding. Haha, feel free to add.

Ah... if McMaster had the prestige of U of T, it would be so perfect. Better job scorage for me. >.>
People seem to think that U of T, and McGill are the best. Queens, Western and a couple other thrown on there.

That's a toughie. There are SOOO many factors, it's hard to choose. I'm sure a lot of people would say U of T simply b/c of the reputation. I personally like McGill and Dalhousie.
Maybe we should break it down by program? For exampe, for business, it's gotta be Western. For Computer Science or Math, I'd go with Waterloo. Veterinary - Guelph Fine Arts - OCAD or Sheridan. I like York for Film though.
Anyone else have favourites by program?

On a more international scale, I think UT and McGill have a more well-known reputation... although I'd say it's mostly because of the graduate schools that it's known for.... moreso than certain programs. It really depends on what type of program you study. You could study an average program at a decent university, and if you do really well, it would actually take you pretty far. I have to say most universities are pretty decent, and at least have one area it's known for

I have looked around at various ranking sites. It seems that if it's done by someone I've not heard of (or on Chinese websites/forums), Toronto is definitely #1. McGill seems to beat out Toronto in a recent Maclean's magazine though. Toronto came in a close second in my impressions after reading that issue.

I would say UBC, but that might be a little biased:

Most of my friends seem to like UofT and Waterloo.
... I personally want to go to York for some reason.
