still waiting... but it looks highly unlikely that I'll get it smile
I had a 89.75% after semester 1, and now it looks as if I'll meet the 90 threshold, but barely

does anyone know how the marks and supplementary form are weighted? is it a split-type deal, or are marks unimportant after the 90 percent step?

thanks so much smile

oh, mine definitely wasn't fantastic
I had no idea how to answer the "what's the one question that should never be asked"
honestly, no question warrants not being asked
but apparently this answer is often used
but I still ended up answering honestly using a different answer; but it sounded pretty corny to others smile

...if that makes you feel any better smile

One of the current Mac students explained that your average will be used if you end up with the same score as others on the supplementary application.

i don't think it's so much the answer itself that they're looking at but rather HOW the question is answered..
i would think that it's all about the thought process

one thing that I don't understand is if admissions look for 90% in your first semester marks or the combination of marks (of your top 6)
if you haven't fasttracked, they can only get a snippet of where your marks lie
and do they care if you've taken calculus vs. data?

the admissions lady @ mac told me that the number of supplementaries which are actually read are 1500....and 3000 apply so that's half cut because they didn't meet the requirements!

they wait until midterm....so more ppl will get rejected after april 25th i think it is.....it's either calc, data, or the other one, so no it does not matter
